At Cooking with Ben, you will observe the preparation of a three-course meal with some hands on experience, before sitting down to a sumptuous dinner accompanied by an appropriate wine. A full and authoritative discussion of ingredients, customs, and sources of supply is presented as we cook our way through the menu of the day .Complete recipes with procedures and note taking is provided each session
You instructor, Ben Pardo, is a retired registered pharmacist, and business person of Westbury, whose avocation for 60 years, has been food. Born into a family of four generations of meat purveyors, and a mother, who operated a successful restaurant for 15 years, food and wine were a part of the family essence. He now enjoys sharing with you, his knowledge of food and wine, in these 4 hour sessions. The cost is at present $ 50.00 per person in classes of four to six.
